support
An employee needs help. We’ll arrange the assessment and guide your next steps.
Request a specialist assessmentSpecialist DSE assessment offer
An employee needs specialist workstation support.
We’ll help you arrange it.
When an employee’s circumstances need more than a routine DSE assessment, it can be difficult to know which specialist to involve or what to do next.
Your WLUK representative reviews the referral, confirms the appropriate service and price, and oversees the arrangements through to report delivery and explanation of the next steps.

Support matched to the person
Who is this assessment for?
Employees whose working comfort is affected by:
- Persistent pain or discomfort.
- An injury or recovery following surgery.
- A disability or existing musculoskeletal condition.
- More complex workstation needs.
- Difficulties that have not been resolved through a routine DSE assessment.
You do not need to choose a specialist discipline before contacting us. We review the requirements and confirm the appropriate assessment before booking.

Confirm the service and cost
Your representative reviews the requirements and confirms the assessment scope, fee and any travel expenses before you commit.
Arrange the assessment
Once approved, we arrange the necessary employee information and agree an appointment.
Understand and act
We deliver the report and explain the next steps. Where equipment is recommended, we can provide a separate itemised quotation for approval.
Clear pricing and purchasing decisions
These offer prices are available to new and existing clients enquiring through this page. Existing agreed client pricing continues to apply.
Equipment, delivery, setup and additional professional appointments are separate. Nothing is ordered without your approval, and you are under no obligation to purchase equipment from WLUK.
If the referral requires a different service, additional assessments or more extensive specialist input, we explain the scope and agree the price before proceeding.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether a specialist assessment is appropriate?
You do not need to make that decision alone. Your WLUK representative reviews the referral and confirms the appropriate service before booking.
Should we choose virtual or onsite?
We help you decide based on the referral and working environment. The offer prices are £300 plus VAT virtually or £360 plus VAT onsite, with onsite travel expenses agreed beforehand.
Can you assess an employee working at home or across home and office?
Yes. Tell us where the employee works so we can confirm the locations, assessment scope and fee before booking.
Can you help with pregnancy-related workstation needs?
Yes. Contact us with the requirements. Maternity assessment scope and pricing are confirmed separately before booking.
Is this a medical diagnosis or fitness-for-work assessment?
This service assesses workstation needs and recommends practical adjustments. Medical diagnosis, treatment and fitness-for-work assessments are different services. If another type of professional input is appropriate, we explain this before proceeding.
Can you provide information for internal budget approval?
Yes. We confirm the assessment scope and cost in writing. The report explains the recommendations and their rationale, and any proposed equipment can be supported by a separate itemised quotation.
Do we have to buy recommended equipment from WLUK?
No. Equipment purchases are optional and separately approved.
What happens if the employee needs further support?
We can clarify the report’s recommendations when required. A further virtual or phone review appointment can be arranged separately at £60 plus VAT. Any additional services are scoped and priced before proceeding.
What if we need to cancel?
For specialist assessments cancelled within five working days of the appointment, a charge of 80% of the agreed assessment fee applies. No cancellation fee applies if we can rebook the appointment for another employee.
